The Annie Dress Sewing Pattern
The Annie dress pattern is one of my most versatile sewing patterns. I’ve made it in several different fabrics, and each version looks completely unique. Double gauze (also called muslin) is absolutely perfect for this pattern: soft, airy, and so comfortable to wear. But it also looks amazing as a crisp poplin blouse, giving the dress a totally different look and feel.
Depending on the fabric you choose, the style changes from floaty and relaxed to more structured and clean. You can sew it as a mini dress, extend it for a longer dress, or shorten it to turn it into the perfect blouse.
A great project even for beginners!
